Designed by Cari Zalloni in Passau, Bavaria, Cazal arrived in 1975 and immediately broke the rules. Oversized. Gilded. Confrontational. Then the unexpected happened: the gold-trimmed 607 crossed the Atlantic and became the unofficial uniform of early hip-hop — from the Bronx to Compton, from Run-DMC to Spike Lee.
Worn loud. Worn on purpose. Still made by hand in Germany, the same way Cari drew them.
The 607 that started it all. The 858 oversized aviator. The 616 in gunmetal. Hand-sourced from Passau, fitted in Los Angeles.
